Last Wednesday, February 2nd, the first Bible Study by Mpho Tutu took place in Vrijburg. Moving forward, they meet at 10h00 on Wednesday in person every second week (which will also be live-streamed) and via zoom in the weeks in between.
The Bible study is in English, is open to all, and is interactive. No prior knowledge of the Bible is necessary. We follow an African Bible Study method that allows us to wrestle with the scripture and hear how God is speaking in our lives.
We study the Gospel text assigned for the coming Sunday in the Revised Common Lectionary (found at lectionarypage.net).
